To begin with – start with the vehicle history – that way you get to know if the car has gone through major repairs. The sellers may try and hide these details but you have to be more careful while picking the car.  Check for any musky or moldy odors – it’s an indicator that the seller was unable to completely clean out the flood related mildew- so the car could be in more bad shape than it apparently looks.
